Oh my goodness this looks unbelievable, recipe here
Today was the last leg of my room redecorating project (flooring was put in about 3 hours ago) and I am absolutely ecstatic with the way it turned out (I’d show you before pictures, but it really wasn’t pretty.. think terribly stained carpet, sky and sand colored walls, and cluttered picture frames full of high school and college memories). I picked out a beautifully girly pink paint (from Pottery Barn) and accented with plenty of whites and tans. I chose a masculine desk lamp (my most recent purchase to offset the compete girlyness in the room) and added my map frames (posted here). The timeless and classy Audrey has always been an idol in my book, so a friend got me the “Happiest girls are the prettiest” sign as a present and the gorgeous flowers are left over from my birthday a few days ago. The various trinkets spread throughout the room are findings from my travels and DIY projects that have sparked my interest. The vintage trunk has always been one of my most favorite pieces and could not part without having it in the room. Please over look the messy desk, I have yet to complete it (and my “midget bed” - its all that fits and I am 5 foot nothing).

Next time you show up to a party, remember to have this is hand. Both are such a cute idea for your hard working and busy host or hostess (Personally you can throw all the mimosas my way, its sad how quick I can sip those suckers down)!

Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoy everything!
Thank you so much! You’re so kind!

I love these. Since my love is currently in Germany (playing playoffs for the Wolfsburg Grizzly Adams) and I am in California, I love the idea of a cutting out heart maps of both locations. I collected a couple of maps while in Germany and always have had a good amount of old United States maps laying around the house (since I was a geography major in college). This is my new project for the day!
My birthday happens to be tomorrow and I’ve been making these glittered star headbands for the party. They are absolutely so fun and so cute!

Little do you know this is incredibly easy, how to (in pictures) found here.
To go with repainting, reflooring, rearranging, and reorganizing my room (its been a slow process, but it’s coming along. Pictures will be coming soon), I have been redoing my workspace and found this set up as my inspiration.

Here (and Here) is how to have beautiful hair for any occasion:
Side Chignon
1. Using a round brush, blow-dry hair smooth and straight, focusing on the top sections.
2. Once dry, use a large-barrel curling iron to create waves from the ears down.
3. Build height and volume at the crown by teasing hair gently with a fine-tooth comb.
4. Gather hair into a low ponytail. Twist it along the nape of your neck, pinning as you go.
5. Once you reach your ear, shape the remaining hair into curls, and pin them back over the twist.
6. Spritz strands in place.
7. To add texture, gently curl and scrunch the wispy ends with your fingertips.
8. Marvel at how gorg you look!
I have a friend who recently asked me to go on the hunt for paper or fabric bouquets for her wedding. I’m starting to notice a lot of brides hopping on this trend because they can last longer and hold better than traditional floral bouquets. Sunny and Stumpy has perfected these beautiful bouquets.

Southern California has many wonders and I enjoy exploring them all. Yesterday my best friend and I went on a hike in Vasquez Canyon and quickly realized that not only were we taking in the beauty around us, but also stepping foot on many movie sets over the years.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! You have to make these today, you can thank me later.
